SEASIDE --- Coach Gary Figueroa has added a deep pool of talent to the CSU Monterey Bay women’s water polo team, which finished the 2008 season with an 18-14 record, it’s best ever. Now, with the additional talent, Figueroa looks to take another step forward.

SEASIDE, Calif. — Monterey Bay area players Janet Oseguera of Salinas and Alexis Bertelson of Santa Cruz will be part of a terrific recruiting class joining the California State University Monterey Bay’s women’s basketball team for next season. Thursday, the school announced the athletes who have signed letters of intent and they will not only add depth to the team, but a lot of height and quickness.
