Hillary Drinovsky enters her first season at Cal State Monterey Bay, joining Coach Hopkins-Chery’s staff from nearby Hartnell College. Drinovsky comes to Seaside with over 11 years of coaching experience at multiple levels.
At Hartnell, she played a pivotal role in leading the Panthers to their second conference title in 2023.
Under her tutelage she mentored several All-Conference players, including the 2023 Coast Conference South MVP.
Before moving up to the collegiate ranks, Drinovsky was the head coach at Monterey High School and Notre Dame (Salinas) High School, where she guided the team to a conference title.
Drinovsky was a standout player at Long Beach Millikan High School where she led her team to the CIF 1AA Quarterfinals before playing at Loyola Marymount. Central Arizona College and UC Santa Barbara. At Central Arizona, she helped lead the squad to a second place national ranking.
A current Monterey resident, she is the daughter of Kristine Drinovsky, a former College Basketball All-American and respected college coach, has influenced her passion and expertise in coaching.
