Day 1 Results
ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – After a shorten first day due to rain, the Cal State Monterey Bay men's golf team sits in a tie for 10th at the Sonoma State Invitational at the par-72, 6,711 course at Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club.
The Otters shot a 15-over-par 303, finishing four-strokes ahead of host Sonoma State.
CSUMB was led on day one by junior #Martin Hardenberger# and freshman #Dylan Jackson# after each fired a 3-over-par 75 and are in 14-way tie for 24th. Senior #Oskar Nystrom# carded a 4-over-par 76. Juniors #Anthony Valdez# and #Scott Yeakel# are tied for 49th place after each carding a 5-over-par 77 on Monday.
No. 22 Western Washington leads the competition with a 1-over-par 289 with Xavier Dailly carding a 5-under-par 67 to be on top of the leaderboard.
The final round will begin tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m.
