MB for the Cure Flyer

SEASIDE, Calif. – In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Cal State Monterey Bay Athletic Department is kicking off its annual MB for the Cure promotions next Friday, Oct. 30 as the men's and women's soccer teams "Kick for the Cure" against Cal State Stanislaus.  The women's game will kickoff at 12:30 p.m. and the men follow at 3 p.m. Otter Volleyball will "Dig for the Cure" vs. Cal State Dominguez Hills at 7 p.m. in the Kelp Bed.

On Feb. 14, 2009, CSUMB hosted its first successful MB for the Cure event with WBCA Pink Zone as the Otter women's basketball team took on Cal State Dominguez Hills.

MB for a Cure will feature events throughout the year, giving fans multiple opportunities to support the fight against breast cancer.  All funds raised by the MB for a Cure will be donated to Breast Cancer Assistance Group of the Monterey Peninsula.

• Donations will be accepted for admission into the game
• With a $10 donation, fans will receive a “MB For The Cure” pink t-shirt
• Free admission for CSUMB students
