Day 1 Results

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The 24th ranked Cal State Monterey Bay men's golf team finished the first day of the 38th Annual Western Washington University Men's golf Invitational in ninth place.  The Otters shot an 14-over-par 590 (296+294) on the 72-par 6,561 yard course at Bellingham Golf and Country Club.

Freshman #Dylan Jackson# tallied the best two rounds for CSUMB, firing a 1-over-par 145 (71+74). He is currently tied for 13th place.

Senior #Oskar Nystrom# is follows him with a 3-over-par 147 (72+75) and tied for 22nd while senior #Jason Simonetti# is tied at 27th after carding a 4-over-par 148 (77+71).  Senior #John Jackson# posted a 6-over par 150 (76+74, T39th) and freshman #Jered Stone# rounded out the Otter golfers with an 11-over-par 155 (80+75, T55th).

The Otters return to the links tomorrow morning for the final round.
