Penna Picks Up All-WWPA Accolades

LOS ANGELES
– Cal State Monterey Bay's #Heather Penna# capped off her strong senior season with a All-Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) honorable mention selection, as announced by the league office today.

“Our congratulations go out to Heather for all her hard work this  year,” said head coach #Gary Figueroa#. “She will be missed next year.”

Penna  finished the regular season with 23 goals and 16 assists while accumulating 22 steals on defense.

Starting in all 30 games, Penna recorded a season-high three goals in both victories over Fresno Pacific.

CSUMB will open the 2010 WWPA Tournament on Friday, April 30, against Cal State San Bernardino at 10:20 a.m. To follow the Otters, go to the Tournament Headquarters.
