Round Two Results

MESA, Ariz. –  The Cal State Monterey Bay women's golf team improved their day one score by eight strokes to move into seventh place at the midpoint of the NCAA Division II Championship Tournament. The Otters carded a 27-over-par 311 in the second round on the par-71, 6,159 yard Longbow Golf Course.

Senior #Cicilia Chudivan# birdied the par-4, 338-yard No. 17 hole do finish day two with an even-par 71.  She has a 36-hole total of 4-over-par 146 and is tied for fourth with Emily Kvidera of Augustana College.  Chudivan is seven strokes behind leader Maria Luz Besio of Newberry College.

Junior #Darcy Lake# carded an 8-over-par 79 in today's round for a four-way tie for 30th place with a score of 15-over-par 157.  Sophomore #Courtney Soekland# follows with a two-round total of 16-over-par 158 after scoring a 7-over-par 78 and is tied for 34th place. 

Freshman #Gianna Waddy# shot three strokes in the second round and is tied for 60th place with a 27-over-par 169. 

The Otters tee off at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, May 14 with University of Indianapolis and California University (PA).
