NORMAN, Okla. – Junior #Scott Yeakel# was named to the NCAA Division II Ping All-American honorable mention team, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of American (GCAA).
“This has been a good year for Scott and hopefully a starting point for the rest of his career,” said head coach #Jason Owen#. “With his new commitment, the possibilities are endless. The future of Otter Golf has never looked better.”
Yeakel won the Notre Dame de Namur Invitational and tied for fourth at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) tournament, leading the Otters to their first conference victory.
Earlier this month, Yeakel was named to the All-West Region and All-CCAA.
