Biography
As a Junior in 2011: Made eight appearances and three starts as a junior in 2011…earned her first collegiate victory off the bench in a season–opening win at William Jessup (Sept. 7)…matched her season–high seven saves in back–to–back games at UC San Diego (Sept. 30) and Cal State San Bernardino (Oct. 2).
At Mt. San Antonio College: Established herself as the top goalkeeper in the South Coast Conference during her two seasons at Mt. SAC…a two–time first team All–SCC selection and the league’s defensive MVP in 2009…posted a career 1.77 goals against average with 216 saves…best season came in 2009 when she put up a 1.71 GAA and made 118 saves.
High School: Prepped at Nogales High School where she was a three–time first team All–Valle Vista League goalkeeper as well as a three–time team MVP…also lettered in basketball and track for the Knights…played club soccer for Yorba Linda Pacific and Glendora FC.
Personal: Majoring in mathematics…earned her A.A. in math from Mt. SAC and plans to pursue a graduate degree in the subject as well…hopes to become a math professor…answers to the nickname Dee–money…lists drawing, hiking and tutoring among her hobbies…parents are Manuel and Graciela Zambrano.
