Cal State Monterey Bay is hosting the first round of the  2012 NCAA Division II Softball Championship May 4-6 at the Otter Sports Complex. CSUMB is one of 16 Division II programs hosting a four-team regional, double elimination tournament. The sixteen teams advancing from regional competition will participate in a two-team, best of three super regional, May 11-12, at eight sites. The eight super regional winners will move on to the Championship May 16-19 in Louisville, KY.
